Terrace house into a contemporary oasis in Sydney

Sydney is not the capital of Australia, but it is the biggest city in that country. So many people live there and the city grows every year. That explains why every piece of land is very important and valuable, since Australia is mainly deserted inside anyway.
No wonder people try to use every inch of ground and many homes are developed vertically instead of horizontally like in other parts of the world. Housing Complex Honeycomb Modular architecture | Apartments

This stunning seaside structure bursts free from the all-too-frequently stale stock of public housing projects with its dynamic array of brightly shaded cells.
Taking its cues from the modular honeycomb clusters of a beehive, the complex was constructed as a low-income residence for young families and couples in the industrial district of Izola on the Slovenian coast. Modern Townhouse by architecture firm Johnston Architects

Located a half block from the beach boardwalk, these two townhouses are designed to participate in the vibrant spirit of the Alki neighborhood in Seattle. Glass façades maximize views and invite a dialogue with the neighborhood.

The two units range from 1,800 to 2,100 SF. Each is three-bedroom with two master suites, and is equipped with a two-car garage. To the north, south and west, the rooftop decks capture views of the Puget Sound, Seattle cityscape and the beach community below. With spacious living spaces and quality finishes such as glulam beam framing, bamboo floor and fir cabinetry, the Alki Townhouses are both beautiful and practical.

Ojai House by HERE modern Design

One of the most photographed and talked about homes in the Greater Los Angeles area is right in the heart of Ojai. Developed by Los Angeles architect and interior designer Kate Svoboda-Spanbock of Here Design, the property was apparently a nightmare to work with from the very beginning, and not because of the clients!
Long, narrow and sloping, the 1,600 square foot lot was studded with mature trees that could not be moved (not that anyone wanted to).
